LEAKAGE DETECTION SYSTEMS
Compliance with F-Gas Regulations for Environmental Protection and Ensuring Health and Safety Requirements
The leakage detection system covers a calibrated mechanical, electrical or electronic device for detecting leaks of fluorinated greenhouse gases, which immediately alerts the operator in the event of a refrigerant leak. It is designed for closed installations, where the accumulation of fluorinated gases is likely to occur in the event of a leak.
These systems can either operate independently or be connected to a controller, integrated into a Building Management System (BMS) or Automation System (BAS) of an installation. The choice of sensor technology for refrigerant gas detection depends on the type of refrigerant it aims to detect and the required concentration range (ppm).

ANNUAL SAFETY VALVE INSPECTION
Safety Valve Certification - Safety is Our Top Priority
In an HVAC system, a safety valve or pressure relief valve prevents damage such as leaks or catastrophic failures due to excessive pressure, which can result from the phase change of the refrigerant. When pressure exceeds a certain upper limit, the safety valve opens to prevent overpressure and closes once the pressure stabilizes within the design operating range, maintaining system integrity and ensuring safe operation.
To maintain overall unit condition and ensure that the valves operate according to manufacturer specifications, regular performance testing is essential. This process aims to calibrate and adjust the safety valves to guarantee their proper and safe operation.
Most manufacturers recommend an annual safety valve inspection program, however, the appropriate frequency may vary, depending on the specific application.

F-GASES & ODS MONITORING SYSTEM SUPPORT
Ensure the Valid Submission of Inspection Reports to the Ministry of Environment and Energy Subsystem
According to the framework of EU Regulations 573/2024 for fluorinated greenhouse gases and (EC) 590/2024 for ozone-depleting substances, as well as the corresponding Ministerial Decisions, namely JMD YPEN/DEDE/85858/2124 and JMD 37411/1829/E103/2007 as amended, operators of equipment containing such substances, such as chillers, heat pumps, etc., are obliged to record, complete, and submit to the electronic platform of the Ministry of Environment and Energy the annual maintenance and technical work data, if the quantity contained in the equipment exceeds the limits set in the Regulations.
Specifically, in the equipment registration and monitoring subsystem, data are submitted concerning maintenance, repair, modification, installation or decommissioning work, as well as detailed data on the substances that may have been introduced or recovered from the respective equipment through the Electronic Inspection Report (EDI).
